Week 12

November 11, 2019

Hola todos!

Ohhh my this week was crazy!! First of all transfers are tomorrow, and we found out that we're both staying woohoo! So, this week we had exchanges with the STLs (sister training leaders) so we went over to Corpus Christi and went out with them on Wednesday! It was super cool to be over there and get to watch how a different missionaries work!
Some fun and random things...
1. I got pulled over for the first time woohoo!🤣 I didnt come to a full stop at a stop sign haha but the policeman didn’t give me a ticket so it's okay hahaha
2. This guy named Robert gave us $20 to go get McDonald's which were probably not gonna do, but now we have $40 that we've gotten from the same apartment complex.
3. This lady asked us if wanted to do some drugs with her and we politely said no 😂
4. Sister Yanez made us Beleadas which is Celestial Honduran food...its a flour tortilla with scrambled eggs and avocado and queso fresco and crema and frijoles with garlic and onion and OH it was so good.
This week we've been trying to change how we contact people so we looked for our favorite scriptures about Jesus and marked them in some copies of the Book of Mormon to give out to people! This is one I really like that we marked and shared with some members as well (shout out to one of my MTC teachers, Hermana Silva for showing our class this one)
1 Nephi 21: 14-16
“14 But, behold, Zion hath said: The Lord hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me—but he will show that he hath not.
15 For can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee, O house of Israel.
16 Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me”
I love this scripture, SO much. Even after Jesus died and was resurrected with a perfect body, he still had the nail marks in his hands. We are and forever will be engraved in his palms and he will never forget us.
Have a great week!
Hermana Coleman
